What we are looking for
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Service Manager to join Uniper’s Corporate IT function in a key role with the remit to shape the future landscape of the company. The successful candidate will work as part of an international team to ensure that IT solutions are effectively managed and act as an intermediary between the Nordic business and the wider IT organisation ensuring local needs are represented and central initiatives are delivered.
Main Responsibilities and Activities include:
• Manage a portfolio of Corporate IT and local Nordic applications and services ensuring they are delivered in quality, time and budget and in line with authority requirements.
• Working within Corporate IT, acting as the Intermediary in both directions between Uniper’s IT Suppliers and Business Units, delivering effective customer-focused IT solutions
• Coordination and management of small projects and ad-hoc business change
• Gain sufficient business understanding to accurately assess the impact of IT changes on the Nordic business, ensuring minimal impact on key business processes
• Collaborating with the business teams to ensure IT demands & requirements are captured and delivered
• Work with Uniper’s IT suppliers in the lifecycle management process, to ensure the stability of our local IT software and infrastructure
• Use your understanding of our IT processes to identify possible improvements and then work with the process owner to implement them
• Assist in managing Supplier relationships and ensure that Uniper is getting the best from them
• Actively participate in the development and rollout of Operational Excellence within the Corporate IT function
• Support Head of Nordic IT in managing legal obligations for IT employees and contracts

We will therefore carry out security clearance of all positions and complement with register control for security classified positions, according to the Protection Security Act. The ability to motivate, challenge and inspire individuals is essential to deliver high performance. You lead by example to develop the culture of continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate would have:
• Service Management experience and/or qualification
• Experience working in an outsourced IT environment and managing suppliers
• Aptitude to understand impact of changes from a technical and business point of view
• Ability to work with stakeholders up to senior management level
• Excellent spoken and written English and Swedish language skills
• Willingness to travel nationally and occasionally internationally as required
