Service Manager IT Operations, Karlskoga

Your Role

We are looking for a Service Manager. In this role, you will have the responsibility to lead the management and development of IT Operation activities in Karlskoga. You have good level of technical knowledge and the ability to lead, motivate and develop relationships. Good judgement and flexibility to handle and respond to unexpected situations are valuable attributes for this position. You have the ability to lead and work operationally.

Main tasks

* Be the operational person to build a Service Value-driven IT team
* Work with the governance team to ensure efficient development of IT environments
* Budget and financial follow up with management
* Coordinate with other IT functions
* Close collaboration with the Business
* Be a part of a cross functional agile team

Your profile

Today you are an experienced IT team leader with strong drive. You have the ability to analyze both what needs to be done as well as defining the roadmap. You also have the ability to express yourself in a clear way and to communicate with stakeholders.
It is important to us that you have an accepting attitude towards people regardless of whom you meet. Respect and dignity should be keywords to you at all times.

Required skills:

* Academic education in IT, System Management or Engineering
* Five to ten years of relevant experience from the IT Operations area
* You are a social and outgoing person with a good understanding of business processes
* Knowledge of economic and assignment follow-up and project management¨

Desired skills:

* You are creative and understand the need of transparency and like to think outside the box
* IT Project leader or Team leader experience
* Strong analytical skills
* Ability to prioritize effectivel

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions, requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

At the Development & Manufacturing IT Systems department in Group IT you will be a part of a diverse team where help is always close at hand. You will hold an important position in one of our sections, leading a team of six members responsible for delivering IT services to the business.
