About Group IT;
We create shareholder value with IT in three key aspects: innovating the business model, enabling business transformation and running business processes. We do this through four service portfolios: Development of Services, Application services, Operations services and Engagement and Governance. Our services are consumed by all Swedish Match businesses, all functions and all staff.
The role
This is a new position at “Other Standard Solutions Competence Center” and you will be responsible for applications based on standard products or services..
The purpose of the role is to take ownership of a number of application services throughout the lifecycle from service introduction, through enhancement and maintenance, to decommissioning. The objective is to efficiently uphold agreed functionality, high availability, adequate performance and adequate usability of services in scope, as well as to further develop the service to support and drive business capability development. Application development, management and enhancements is sourced to external parties.
This includes
Organize, oversee and drive development, enhancement and maintenance of assigned applications
Organize and be responsible for releases, testing and implementations of changes to the business in the various systems and applications
Manage and follow vendors/consultants in delivery of solution development as well as application enhancement, management and maintenance
Track and analyze vendor performance including monitor factors such as customer satisfaction, delivery reliability, quality and accuracy of estimates and invoices
In cooperation with Business Engagement, devise and propose solutions to customers’ needs
Engage with Service Owners to ensure service cost, performance transparency and to drive service value and enhancements
Your background
To succeed in this role you have a passion for and a genuine interest in IT and how IT can be used to support and enhance business capabilities as well as the every day life of end users. You have solid experience and knowledge in IT architecture in general. You are able to understand and discuss technical issues throughout the application lifecycle, with business stakeholders, users, IT colleagues and vendors. You can establish and maintain vendor relationships to produce high quality and reliable deliveries.
Your personality is of great importance in this position. You are independent, self-driven with strong analytical and problem solving skills. You take great ownership and enjoy working with high flexibility. You have a positive and resolution oriented mindset.
