Great! We are now looking for a Service Manager for Open Source Program Office (OSPO) within Engineering Services. A curious, open source rebel, and we would love to hear from you on why you are our perfect match based on below qualities:
Leadership experience from large scale IT organization with technology focus.
In-depth knowledge and experience in software development and technical/cloud architecture
Leadership and being an advocate regarding both open source inbound and outbound processes and projects.
Strong knowledge in development practices and/or IT service management including agile practices.
Driving transformation and change at large scale with the use of open source software/licensing.
Building, promoting and supporting a sustainable inner and open source ecosystem.
Strong in stakeholder management and leading leaders and co-workers

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As Service manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the Service offering part of the Service Area including all technical and operational aspects, such as roadmaps, SLAs (Service Level Agreements), budget as well as leading/developing co-workers and teams.
Among the many tasks within your role, you will be:
Accountable for development and implementation of the roadmap based on consumer feedback, changing needs and new technologies as well as giving input to the roadmap strategy.
Responsible for balancing the need when managing stakeholders for the Service across teams and functions to reach agreement in conflicting priorities
Accountable for the operational activities and daily running of the Service, ensuring compliance with legislations, policies and other requirements
Building and leading an Open Source Program Office team of subject matter experts in open source and as well as providing support around it.
Accountable for driving open source initiatives within the company and ensuring that we are together creating alignment throughout IKEA.
Supporting the work with both inbound and outbound projects, processes and stakeholders to ensure alignment and management for the area.
Leading and managing a team focusing on building a strong service offering in line with the goals of the IKEA business and values as well as the consumer needs
Contributing with coaching and insights to initiatives/movements initiated within the Technology Service Area aiming to create a modern digital foundation to support speed, growth and flexibility
Managing service financials, i.e. budget, allocation and forecasts, follow up cost development and proactively drive improvements in cost efficiency to ensure the affordable IKEA
Continually reviewing risks and compliance towards contracts, laws and regulations in regards to open source and open source licencing to stay compliant.

In this role you will report to Technology Service Area Manager for Engineering Services.

Group Digital set the digital agenda to keep IKEA leading in a constantly changing environment. We drive the development, provision and operation of our digital products and services using new and existing technology and agile delivery methods to deliver at pace and at scale. At the same time, We provide a home for digital skills to both develop and extend the technical, people and business skills needed to ensure continuous development and growth of our digital capability.
