At the new established department Enterprise Services we provide Core IT infrastructure services and technology in areas of compute, storage, connectivity and a selection of application-related services. These services are not directly consumed by users, but are required to be able deliver reliable, secure and flexible business applications and services.
The separation of SMT from Sandvik requires a build up of a modern design, fully global and central managed SD WAN network together with an external partner supporting both legacy and modern cloud applications. 

Responsibilities
The purpose of the position is to be the point of contact for all central WAN services provided by the new central IT organization.
You will be managing, defining and delivering clearly defined WAN services that enable customers to understand service offerings, including what each service does and does not include, eligibility, service limitations, cost, how to request services, and how to get help. The role is key for designing the new IT function, as well as establishing the necessary services for the Wide Area Network.
You will also be part of continuous improvement and automation of operations, as well as act as point of contact for suppliers and internal functions utilizing the services.
You have an essential role in serving as the point of escalation and collecting feedback and requirements from customers and other stakeholders.

As highly appreciated Service Manager you are expected to cooperate and building relations with other Service Managers within the network area in other countries. You will lead the development of the Wide Area Network services portfolio by creating, packaging and defining the services, ensuring services are delivered in accordance with agreed business requirements, and managing the service roadmaps. Furthermore, you will establish financial, business and pricing models for the services in scope.

Qualifications
You are expected to hold a university degree in IT or similar work experience, and have previous experience in service management role, preferably in the Network area.
You should be able to manage multiple stakeholders with different maturity and requirements. You are also expected to be collaborative, thinking strategic but also utilize existing capabilities internally and externally to take us to the new target operating model in the new company.

You are also not afraid to get into technical discussions and help solutioning Network projects/demands to a certain level using solution architects, engineers and operators. You are self-organized, structured, have good communication and social skills, have good Swedish and English skills, verbal and written. You can plan your hours as there will be some travelling.

• A few years of experience in service management role, preferably in Network area.
• Experience and good knowledge in network area as wide area networks, network transports, firewalls.
• Understanding of ITIL v3 service management and operational activities needed to uphold a service.
• Experience in service and contract management in a multivendor global environment 
• Ability to coordinate and manage global changes and initiatives
