We are now looking for a Service Manager to join the service area “Foundational Engineering and Engineering Collaboration” within Engineering Services.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Service manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the service offering part of the service area including all technical and operational aspects. Such as roadmaps, SLAs (Service Level Agreements), budget as well as leading/developing co-workers and teams.
You will be responsible for “Foundational Engineering and Engineering Collaboration”, a service area that consists of four engineering managers with respective teams that are working with:
Source Code Management
Artifact Management
Secrets Management
Client near developer tooling (such as IDE’s)
In-house built developer portal
Agile planning and engineering team knowledge sharing
Engineering collaboration
And much more.

An area that delivers the core tooling and services for engineers working in our teams and on our digital products across all of IKEA.
TOGETHER AS A TEAM
In this role you will lead, mentor and coach other leaders. You will be setting a road forward for the service area and ensure that it aligns with Engineering Services strategy, consumer needs and stakeholder needs. You will also be developing the team and fostering a continuous learning culture.
You will have Engineering Managers as your direct reports and will be joining a team of Service Managers for other areas within Engineering Service.
In this role you will report to Technology Service Area Manager for Engineering Services.
