Do you want to build Scania’s future and lead the electrification shift? The world of transport and logistics is electrifying rapidly and Scania is facing the biggest shift in our history. Our target is to take a leading role in the transformation by introducing new tailor-made products, services, and sustainable transport solutions. Besides a whole new product range, this will change the way we do business and interact with our customers. Our purpose is to package, communicate and implement the technical capabilities needed in the service network, for our E-mobility Solutions in operation and coming products.
We are just delivering our first battery-electric trucks and are now looking ahead to build our capabilities to manage a rapid increase of products, volume, and markets in the coming years. Core in these capabilities is to roll out service readiness of our offering on new markets for them to be prepared for coming solutions. In this, the Service Market Implementation Manager will be essential.

As a group, we all work closely together with interconnected responsibilities and competencies to enable open and engaging discussions and to assure quick support when needed. This includes co-operation with our sister functions in Service Operations and in Service Portfolio and delivery. We also work closely with the other Service departments within Scania as well as R&D. Flexible employment to partly work from home is a possibility at Scania.
The assignment
The main responsibility of the Service Market Introduction Manager is to define, plan and manage activities related to Service Network Readiness on existing and new markets. In the role, you will work closely with other departments at head office and our Business Units to secure Scania’s capabilities in all areas of Service Network Readiness and how they relate: Staff preparation, Workshop Methods and tools, Market information/Internal communication, Workshop requirements, Parts and logistics, Support and others.
Part of the role is to professionally manage implementation activities and internal communication activities. It will be important to engage with the markets to understand their situation as input to appropriate setup for their needs.
Another part of the assignment is to act as an active and proactive stakeholder in product development projects. You will work with understanding the technological solutions and possible service market consequences of the product development projects. You will then translate your findings together with the Services Operations organisation into Service network impact and needs.
Your daily work will focus both on present and future service market needs. The outcome of your work will have a high impact on the ability of many roles and functions of our commercial organisation.
Your profile
• you have experience from working in a project organisation
• you have some leadership experience, eg. from working with projects
• you have a technical interest and a curiosity for new technology
• you are a self-propelled person with an open mindset that is able to see and build structure from scattered information and find and fill in the missing pieces
• you have great communication skills both internally and externally
• you also have fluent knowledge in english and basic knowledge in swedish, both written and oral
