What you’ll do!
As responsible for the Service Offer Portfolio within Volvo Cars Service Business you will be responsible for managing and driving the cross functional development of our service offer portfolio.
You are responsible for value added, segmented and competitive customer offers and to enable a sustainable business agenda as key component.
With the end in mind, this should all lead to hassle free car ownership. The work includes defining the service offer cycle plan, attributes & key features and aligning this with the regions and markets. But it will also be critical to lead and support global implementation. In essence, this means that we together work to ensure that the Service offer portfolio is competitive over time.
You will work close with the leadership and Business Owners within Volvo Cars Service Business but also with our three regions and other stakeholders within Volvo Car Group in order to optimize the Group synergies.
You and your skills
• M.Sc. in Engineering or Business or several years of relevant experience
• Experience in automotive project and product management in a strategic change management environment
• Experience from working in a market (at an National Sales Company or similar)
• Experience from aftersales business
• Interpersonal skill since working with others is critical in this role (experience from formal or informal leadership is meritorious)
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
We are looking for a candidate who has experience from automotive project and product management and with the ability to think and act outside the norm.
We think you have a strategic mind-set and networking skills, are solutions oriented and a team player with a pragmatic and holistic view on things.
You understand the aftermarket business, how it works and can use this to translate into customers’ needs and new service offers.
Since this is a new role, entrepreneurial mind-set and self-starter skill are important.
You also need to have a high drive to deliver, so a doer mentality in combination with a “can-do-attitude” will be important. You enjoy interacting with people and understand that collaboration will be key to get things done and have a real impact. You have a sincere believe in the power of creating a “bring out the best” culture and take pride in success achieved by teamwork.
The position is based in Gothenburg with global responsibility. The position will require travel on an ad hoc basis.
