Service Owner Easy Connect

Role Description

As a Service Owner Easy Connect, you will work with the services development and the commercial offer around our Easy Connect product. For this, you interact closely with the Marine Business Unit – Product Management & Service Market organizations and with our development partners at CPAC, D&IT and PD. You manage the creation, prioritization and deliveries of the Easy Connect services roadmap and backlog. You synchronize the roadmap between project/service deliverables, hardware deliveries and market readiness/ launch. You work in close relationship to other Service Owners within the Global Parts & Services organization and contribute to the delivery of our Digital Strategy. You're a born boater and have strong affinity with digital services.


Key Responsibilities
Coordination between various service development projects and roll-out plans related to Easy Connect
Service Lifecycle management: from ideation and planning through delivery-operation to service retirement
Contribution in services strategy work together with Service Market Marine organization
Unlocking and capturing business opportunities in dialogue with internal stakeholders
Contribute to the digital channel strategy of Volvo Penta
You develop business and pricing models, commercial strategy for the Easy Connect offer
Ensuring delivery of training material, marketing plan and support structure for Easy Connect
You develop business reporting and KPI structure which will drive services sales

Experience/competencies
Marine/boating knowledge and experience required
Capturing market/customer insights
Managerial and organization skills
Project management experience
Analytical – self driven – solution-focused
Knowhow of SaaS + app strategy is seen as a plus
Commercial mindset
Long term vision and short term execution
Strategic thinking

This function will report to the Vice President Uptime Services.
