Connected Services is a new function within Volvo Buses with the global responsibility for connected services and solutions over the life cycle. In close cooperation with our customers and stakeholders, Connected Services are responsible for defining, developing, and delivering world class connected services for sustainable people transports. The aim is to accelerate speed and quality in bringing value to the business and customers. We are a team on a journey, creating great results through awesome people, strong relationships, and a high-performance culture.

This is how you make an impact
As Service Owner you will own one area of connected services in our portfolio within Volvo Buses. In close collaboration with customers, Business units, Volvo Group Connected Solutions and other stakeholders you have the responsibility for complete life cycle of the services within your area.
Areas of responsibility include (but are not limited to…)
Drive optimization of lifecycle of services within your area. This will be done by good insight and knowledge about customer pain points and opportunities for value creation within your area of services.
Actively drive optimization of lifecycle cost of the services within your area.
Define and own the strategy and roadmap for your area of services
Be the main interface for development teams for design, development, and operations of your area of services
Who are you?
We believe the successful candidate has experience from working in the business design and/or business development area preferably within digital services. A business mind-set, personal credibility and integrity are crucial personal characteristics. You are a leader with strong relationship capabilities and enjoy working with others in flexible team constellations. You have a passion for people, customer value and technology.
Your personality is your major reason for success, but we think you also have
Holistic mindset with a strong customer focus
Knowledge of and proven track record of leveraging connectivity and data to create value adding services for customers
Strong experience in service design, development and operation
Experience from services sales and software-based business models
You are commercially oriented, intuitive and have excellent communication and team-working skills.
You communicate with ease in English, both spoken and written
