Are you our new Service Responsible?

Enterprise Network Services (IUBD) owns and maintains Services and Platforms enabling secure and robust connectivity according to business needs. The group is responsible for WAN, security services (e.g. proxy and firewall), remote access – among other things. 

We are now looking for a new service responsible for WAN and SDWAN. WAN and SDWAN are central, business-critical services that we provide for Scania business units all over the world. It is important that these services are continually improved and developed in order to provide the best quality and value for money. Here is where we need YOU!

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership and strategic skills.

Your tasks
We expect you to lead the development and implementation of technical roadmaps, quality of delivery and financial control for our WAN and SDWAN services. You will work with highly skilled technical experts and architects, but you will also be coordinating with different business units and negotiating with suppliers. Since the role involves a lot of networking, we think you have excellent interpersonal skills.

Your profile

• Relevant academic education or equivalent work experience in the area of work
• Solid business and technical understanding and the ability to bridge the two
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Negotiation skills (bonus if you have experience from purchasing!)
• Experience of managing 3rd party agreements
• Structured, but with an agile and flexible mindset
• Proficient in English and preferably Swedish (German is a bonus!)
• Some leadership or coordination experience (for example project management, scrum master, product owner, or team leader)
• Curious and willing to think outside the box
