Your responsibilities
As a Service Responsible in Product Development IT, you work on the edge between business and technology and will support the Scania R&D users and business with your applications. We are looking for someone who likes to be in the centre of the business activities and can work with applications that require agile management. You will be the SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for all communication with the application vendors; amongst others handling procurement, managing licenses, budgets, and agreements. You are also driving improvement work and adding new functionality needed by the business.
You will also work on IT infrastructure and manage security for your applications, together with the vendor and customer support you are to ensure day-to-day operations, manage and solve incidents and help users to choose the right IT solutions.
Who are you?
To be successful in this role you are self-going, communicative and have a good social ability. You are a structured, supportive person by nature, with a passion and understanding of end-users and their business. Leading, guiding, and clear communication are something you find both inspiring and rewarding. You bring enthusiasm, energy and can translate business needs into deliveries. Furthermore, you think and breathe agile, have the courage to challenge existing ways of working and being creative in how you test these ideas. We also believe you;
• Have an academic education or can show you reached that level through experience. Additionally, you have at least 4-5 years of previous work experience in project- or change management, application development, support or any other relevant area.
• You have a broad technical IT knowledge, ideally some experience in cloud computing, system administration or DevOps on infrastructure solutions.
• Have a strong user-centric mindset and are fascinated by how technology can unlock people’s productivity.
• Master English fluently in both speaking and writing. Knowing Swedish is an advantage.
