The Service Sales Specialist has the task of delivering the ABB Ports service portfolio to ABB and end customers globally helping to drive sales, volumes and margins across the Service product portfolio.
Reporting to the Ports Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in implementing the service sales strategy, with a focus on penetrating installed base and promoting various upgrade, retrofit, spare parts and value-added solutions.
Your responsibilities
Identifying and developing sales opportunities, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets. Understanding Division/Local Division sales strategy and get it implemented into sales activities.
Establishing long-term customer relationships, reacting immediately to issues and demonstrating in-depth technical knowledge of products and solutions from a Service point of view (Life Cycle Management, etc).
Communicating contract details in accordance with ABB offerings and strategy, and managing associated administrative sales processes.
Working closely with local ABB units as well as with end customers globally.
Preparing commercial offers, ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.
Collaborating within the sales organization and with Service Coordinators ensuring smooth handovers, minimizing risks and maximizing quality for projects and orders.
Your background
Bachelor’s degree (or above) in engineering is preferred.
Since you will work in a global company, you need to master Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
At least 2 years of experience in sales roles.
Having customer centric mindset, teamwork spirit and striving for excellence skills required.
Comfortable with close customer communication.
Driven person able to work independently and taking own initiatives.
Driven person with good initiative and a strong will to learn new things and grow.
