The Canon Regional Competence Center (RCC) office resides in Gothenburg and is responsible for Canon Service & Support in the Nordic region covering Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland.We are today 32 employees covering service, support, logistic, spare part management and administration of our authorized service centres throughout the region.Our employees contribute all to our most important objective to give our customers World Class Service.To meet that objective we want to attract the best people in the branch.We are working in an organisational relaxed atmosphere in a very attractive open office environment. At Canon Nordic RCC in Gothenburg we are looking for a Service Technician for Professional Photo (CPS).Summary & Job Purpose: The "CPS Technician" will be one of three technicians that will be specialized in repairing, performing service and supporting the professional photographers, amateurs and other technicians in the Nordic Region.The service will take place in Canon RCC's internal work shop in Mölndal/Gothenburg as well as on external events where Canon offers Service & Support for the professional photographers. Responsibilities and Tasks: .In house repairs on Canons professional photo equipment like camera bodies, lenses and accessories as well as the consumer SLR models like EOS 300D,EOS 350D and EOS 400D etc..Participate in external CPS-events..Serve Pro customers as well as amateurs at the Workshop Customer Desk..Repair and analyze "difficult repairs" from Canons authorized service facilities and give feedback of the results. Required Languages: An excellent knowledge of the Swedish and the English language (both written and spoken) and preferably other Nordic languages. Required Skills and Qualifications: This role requires a pro-active, honest and hard-working candidate that is committed to getting the job done with excellent analysis and problem solving skills. .Self managed - Needs to be self-motivated to identify, research and take ownership of issues and tasks in order to reach the optimal solutions..Creative, the ability to "think outside the box"..Hard working - Operates successfully under pressure and is flexible when necessary..Good analytical skills..Strong team player that can build solid working relationships internally and across Europe..Makes personal effort to treat people fairly, holds others in high regards, respects others opinions and is prepared to listen and solicit input from others..Open-minded and forthright and is willing to promote change.Competencies and Experience: .A high level of photo technical competence is required to understand the business..Competence and understanding of photo in general to be able to understand and communicate with Canons professional photographers in a proper way..A high level of IT-competence and understanding as many of the adjustment procedures and analyzes demands it.
