Atlas Copco Secoroc is a division within Atlas Copco’s Mining and Rock Excavation Technique business area. It develops, manufactures and markets rock drilling tools worldwide. Its products are used for rock excavation within the mining and construction business for both surface and underground applications. The division is headquartered in Fagersta, Sweden and has production in six continents.

Job description
As a Service Technician you will be responsible to give technical support as well as give support in product selection, product features and to recommend best drilling practice to our Customers. You also have the responsibility to conduct and follow up drilling tests, perform training to our Customers, give support to Market Communication department and be an actively part in projects together with R&D with focus on Lean. You will be working with claim handling, product assortment, product introduction and marketing intelligence. Prepare and hold presentations and to compile and analyze product data are included in the daily work.

Education
High school diploma, technical related is a demand. Knowledge and experience from drilling and mining area is preferred.

Experience
You have a deep technical interest with a positive personality and a customer-oriented “can do” attitude. To be successful you need excellent communication skills, fluent in English spoken as well as writing. You need to be comfortable working with different cultures and countries. For us your personality is very important and you need to be outgoing, proactive and have the ability to build and nurture relationships.

Additional information
This position is located at our product company in Fagersta (Sweden) and you have to be prepared to travel about 100-120 days per year.
