We are looking for a Service and Warranty Leader to be based in
Stockholm
Rail Control Solutions (RCS) is a world leader in developing, engineering and installing rail control and signalling safety systems, products and services. RCS enables the safe and efficient operation of rail networks and trains.
Your Role
You will be a member of the service organization and have the responsibility for Service level agreements and warranty contracts. Your primary focus is to deliver Service or warranty according to agreements, within budget and to assure customer satisfaction. You are also expected to expand our service offering and customer base in the North Region.
You will support customers in investigation, troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues. You shall evaluate and confirm relevancy of issues toward service and warranty coverage and determine accountability of issue resolution between Bombardier, supplier and customer, based on technical evidence available.
Through consistent evaluations and thorough investigation you will support in minimizing warranty cost as well as maintain burden for maximum added value.
You are also expected to:
Liaise with partners, suppliers, sister division's representatives and Centre of Competence/Region engineers to assure resolution and best compromise.
Collect adequate data and share with others to establish best practice for similar product and projects. (This includes maintaining log of progress, observations, lessons learned and opportunity for process and business improvements).
Assure adequate documentation of issue and resolution process to facilitate troubleshooting, resolution and analysis, to include FRACAS data exploitation.
Participate and assist in the smooth handover to the customer at completion of the warranty through well documented objective evidence demonstrating full compliance towards completion of open issues and warranty items
Ensure that all containment, issue resolution and final closure are done in full compliance of requirements and certification needs.
Your Experience and Qualifications
You have technical education combined with proven business acumen. You have multiple years of experience in working in a customer support role, handling warranties and service level agreement cases. You have multiple years of experience in working in a large, international, multi-functional organization dealing directly with customers in the public sector. You are business fluent in Swedish and English.
You need to be a self-starter with a strong drive, and you need to have strong communication and negotiation skills. You have strong analytical thinking skills.
