Join us in developing the ServiceNow platform within the Schibsted Group
You will be involved in exciting and challenging projects, working with some of the best co-workers available.
We are in the middle of an exciting phase bringing the existing solutions to the next level as well as running a number of new initiatives with high business value and it is all about the user experience and smart, cost effective solutions!
Schibsted Enterprise Technology delivers IT services across the group. The ServiceNow team currently provides services ranging from standardising and improving the platform for all users, to providing fit for purpose scoped applications to specific teams and companies within the group. Our main focus is on the employee and the agent experience, and many of the initiatives evolve around automation and the employee portal/experience.
In the role as ServiceNow developer you will focus a lot on the employee journey and the experience as an agent working with and on the platform. You will be put in front of challenges and need to be able to move between being a pragmatic problem solver and a future proof guardian. Our team is truly affecting and influencing the roadmap for Service now within Schibsted and what we do has a big effect on the everyday work life in this organisation. You will be part of this team and we will deliver together.
A snapshot from our 2022-2023 ServiceNow Roadmap:
- Implement CMDB and expand the work with service management for IT, HR & Facility management
- Continue building an excellent Walk up experience
- Evolve the usage of the Mobile App
- Set up new and move current integrations to better standards by following Schibsted’s new integration best practices
- Continuously work on automating standard processes & procedures examples are prototyping automated HR services, following up on the active workplace etc
- Chatbot (Slack) & start to play with virtual agent functionality
- Clean up activities to remove or (and) improve customisations
- Expand the Life cycle event usage and include Employee journey
- Take the next step for infrastructure, ITOM
What we are looking for
- Someone who is passionate about smart & cost efficient platform solutions
- Who are not only interested but passionate about how to build seamless flows between different systems to achieve great experience and efficiency
- Who is a software developer and has understood the power of the platform
- Who takes pride in developing according to ”Out of the box” standards
- Have at least 3 years experience of Servicenow development
- Have strong understanding of Servicenow best practices
- Have experience in and appreciates working in an hybrid of project/agile/scrum environment
- Takes responsibility and follow-through
- A social team player * Fluent in English
- You are a ServiceNow Certified system administrator
- You are preferably certified in HR Service Delivery and knows Employee Center
You have Technical Knowledge of
- ServiceNow Development & administration
- JavaScript, CSS & HTML
- REST API (JSON)
- Portal development
- Working on transform maps and Import sets
- Building scoped apps
It's an advantage if you have experience from:
- AD/Okta integrations
- HR Service Delivery in ServiceNow
- App Engine development
- Integration HUB
- Knowledge within IT ServiceManagement, Operation & Development
- Experience in implementing CSDM
- Experience in working with CI/CD pipelines continuous delivery
- Test management
