Silversea cruises, world leader in luxury cruising operating four vessels on world wide itineraries is currently recruiting for the following positions:
Waiter
Arbetsuppgifter/Performance /Responsibilities
This position contributes to the Company's Mission, values, and strategic priorities by implanting the principles of Aggressive Hospitality in the areas of :
. food and beverage service
. special daily duties including cleaning, organizing, and sanitation.
. Embarkation and debarkation duties.
. training assistance for new crew members
. safe professional and personal practices
. congeniality and teamwork.
In carrying out these responsibilities, the waiter undertakes duties in the four areas of the professional performance score card:
. Technical
. Safety
. Silver Service
. Social
The duties in each of these performance areas are detailed below. Theses duties are undertaken within company policies, standards, and operating manuals.
Technical duties
1. Maintain clean and orderly tables and organizes station.
2. Provides personalized services.
3. Assist guests in ordering by describing menu.
4. Take guest orders, obtains orders from the galley and ensures prompt delivery to guest.
5. Fulfill guest requests for beverages and condiments.
6. Assist F&B Controller in storing and securing food and beverages.
7. Provide luggage handling services.
8. Carry out Embarkation and debarkation duties.
9. Clean and maintain area and equipment according to USPH standards.
10.Careful use of ship equipment and reporting of faulty or broken equipment.
11.Assist managers with training and induction of new personnel
12. Undertake all other duties as requested by supervisor.
Safety duties
13. Carry out designated role in crew and passenger safety drills according to regulations.
14. Comply with the Company's safety and pollution prevention regulations and operating procedures.
Silver Service
duties
15. Complete the Silver Service CD-room program.

Utbildning/Erfarenhet
. European Dining Room
. Min. 3 years in 5 star operation
Good knowledge of International Cuisine
