About the role
The Specialist SHES Systems provides specialist expertise in the development, implementation and embedment of the SHES Global strategy within the Business in alignment with the Group Mandate, Standards and Procedures and contributes to the SHES Strategy and planning process and SHES budget consolidation annually and to Global SHES initiatives as required.
What you will be doing
Key Accountabilities
Contributes to the annual SHES strategy and planning process or to the annual regional improvement plan.
Drives the development of global standardised and simplified SHES management system procedures and tools
Oversees the SHES assurance program to support visibility of compliance against the SHES Standards
Drives the development and implementation of SHES programs including major hazard management across Orica
Drives SHES programs that improve behavioural safety compliance Engages and consults with key stakeholders across Orica or the regional business
Builds capability to support implementation and embedding SHES management systems and programs across Orica or the region
Identifies and implements SHES continuous improvement programs to address SHES assurance Provides SME support to SHES Specialists and Operational Leaders.
Develops pathways and implementation plans for Orica Group Standards and Procedures and work with the SHES Specialists and Operational Leaders on effective rollout.
Contributes to the design and development of Group SHES systems, procedures or programs.
Oversees the SHES assurance program for the Regional Business to support visibility of compliance against the SHES Standards or identifies and implements SHES continuous improvement programs to address SHES assurance finding
Drives the development and implementation of SHES programs including Major Hazard Management across the Regional Business.

What you will bring
* Minimum 3 to 6 years experience post qualification.
* Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.
* Strong strategic and commercial acumen supported by sound commercial judgement.
* Ability to plan, influence & execute.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills to present strategic logic and recommended pathways, coupled with the ability to present to key stakeholders
