Shipyard worker – maintenance
We are now searching for a shipyard worker to our service and maintenance department.
Each vessel is handled as a project which will be led by a project manager and its project team. The tempo is high, and the timeframe is short 7-10 days per vessel. During these days many ad-hoc activities needs to be handled by our staff, so we all need to be problem solvers.
The service and maintenance department’s responsibilities are to handle all maintenance required at the fixed equipment in the yard, such as portal cranes, overhead cranes, pumps and valves, workshop machines, electronic welding machines, basically most of the technical equipment required to operate a shipyard. This also includes service connections to the vessels like shore connection and other media.
We are now looking for a shipyard worker who will mainly focus on troubleshooting or preventive maintenance of the shipyard’s equipment, like welding machines, portal cranes, overhead cranes, the person need to be able to perform the duties without assistance.
Competence:
Diploma in electronic/electric
English
Experience from Repair and maintenance of electrical and electronic equipment, preferably from repair shipyard.
