SIEM Engineer

In the role as SIEM Engineer, Security Service Specialist you will engage different clients in multiple industry sectors for shorter or longer engagements helping them to provide the best value out of their Qradar technology. You will primarily work in projects where you are the subject matter expert in your field of knowledge.


The expectation of a subject matter expert is that you are able to perform tasks as installation, tuning and development of methods and use cases either by hand or by advising and instructing others. Workshops and meetings with clients are an important task in your role, where you help the client to conclude on their most valuable options. You will work along side with Security Architects and Security Consultants whom rely on your skills and knowledge.


You will be part of the Nordic SIOC (Security Intelligence and Operations Consulting) team. We are distributed between Stockholm and Örebro in Sweden, Copenhagen in Denmark and Oslo in Norway.


Required Professional and Technical Expertise :
• At least three years as an IBM Qradar SIEM professional


• Must Demonstrate a solid IBM QRadar SIEM understanding on topics including QRadar Roadmap Updates; Architecture Deep Dive, Data Ingestion & Integrations; Correlations, Use Cases &Tuning; API programming and Getting Support & Advanced Troubleshooting.
• Must have attended the IBM security master class QRadar Advanced track or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP communication
• Strong knowledge of either Window or Linux/Unix OS environments
• Working knowledge of either Window or Linux/Unix OS environments
• Certified Information systems Security Professional CISSP
• Advanced English, both written and spoken
