Our Great Opportunity
We are looking for a digital designer with deep signal and power integrity competence that wants to join our engaged and professional team in Kista, Sweden.
The primary scope of the role will be to work with our digital HW radio product development activities at the Ericsson design center in Sweden (Kista) and cooperate with our global sites in China and Canada. The role has contact with external chipset suppliers to assure that technology development is in sync with Ericsson’s needs.
The Signal Integrity (SI) Developer will take part in activities such as: circuit design, simulations and product documentation as well as interacting with hardware and software design, integration, verification, tools design and product lifecycle management.

Role responsibilities will include
Develop and test high quality products
Perform trouble shooting
Manage continuous improvements of products and processes
Develop competence in technical domain
Report into the Manager of Digital Design & Freq Generation



To be successful in the role you have
M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or similar
Worked as Digital HW designer with proven experience of around 5 years in digital, SerDes/high-speed and signal integrity analysis.
Product development knowledge and Product Lifecycle Management knowledge
A good understanding and knowledge of Telecommunications Networks
An interest to constantly learn, communicate, interact, share information, and willingness to help support others, both internally and externally
The ability to work in teams with minimal direction and ability to take initiative and work independently when needed
A quality mentality, ability for strategic and critical thinking and a drive to always improve



We believe that you behold analytical, problem-solving skills and is a person who is committed to delivering results. We need you to have a sense of ownership and with an innovative demeanor you will always try find creative solutions when lacking information. We also believe that the ideal candidate has solid communication skills and can act with confidence in supplier meetings or similar.
Additional requirements:
Knowledge of simulation tools (Mentor, Ansys, SiSoft) and familiar with layout and schematic tool (Cadence) and are using them today.
Experience in signal and power integrity simulations and EMC theory.
Experience using lab equipment's such as logic analyzers, patter generators, oscilloscope, etc.
Understanding electrical performance and limitations such as tradeoff between power consumption and noise performance, and the limitations of on die integrated solutions versus discrete built.
