At Volvo Group Trucks Technology Electromobility, we are currently looking for several senior Simulation and Analysis Engineer to be part of a team working on system simulation & digital twins of electric driveline & Volvo Group Electromobility products.

We are Virtual Product Development & Digital Services (VPD&DS) in Electromobility, a dynamic department in the forefront of digital transformation working with data, simulations & digital twins to provide world-class solutions for electromobility systems and delivering customer values for Volvo business units such as trucks, buses, construction equipment and marine applications.

What will you do?
You will have close cross-functional collaboration with colleagues from different parts of Volvo Group. You along with the team will be responsible for system simulation platform & model development of battery electric vehicles. The system simulations are carried out within Matlab/Simulink and are used throughout the life cycle of a Volvo product, from the concept design phase to sales, aftermarket & maintenance. The simulations consist of both component and plant modeling to control and software in loop.


More specifically, your role in the team will be to lead model development for physical test rigs and HIL rigs. You will work together with rig development teams and test engineers to anchor and coordinate plans to help secure and develop the right model in place at the right time for the right test.
You will also work to enable and buildup rig automation capabilities and processes.
In addition, you will work with securing test needs and coverage for battery electric vehicle model development.


Who are you?
We believe that to be successful in the position, you are a team player and have strong experience in simulation, testing & HIL rig domain. You have automotive or electrical system development experience working in cross-functional teams. You have worked with leading and coordinating activities and you have a willingness to learn and take more responsibility with a can-do attitude.

Requirements:
Master of Science in engineering or equivalent
5+ years' experience in automotive simulation & HIL rig development or equivalent
Experience working with physical automation testing
Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink
Proficiency in Python
Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written
