As a simulation engineer


As a Simulation analyst, you will be responsible for evaluating various components, sub-systems and systems, running complete vehicle simulations to ensure cooling, heating and refrigerant performance. You will work closely with various engineering teams to coordinate and lead complex simulation tasks.


Additional Responsibilities:
Conduct 1D analysis of components, sub-systems (e.g: heat exchangers, exhaust systems, coolant loop, etc.) and complete vehicle. Integrate 1D Simulink simulation models in our HILs (Hardware in the Loop)
Conduct technical research, post-process and analyse 1D results, write engineering reports and provide design recommendations to identify and rectify potential design issue, and improve existing designs. Use Data, test results and measurements to improve the simulations.
Work with engineering, testing and project teams to plan, develop and coordinate test plans, provide instrumentation roadmaps and interpret test data to make design recommendations
Synthesize information from a variety of resources (simulation/test results, technical requirements, historical data etc.), identify areas of improvement, make recommendations for stakeholders across the engineering organization
Lead cross-functional engineering and CAE teams to rectify potential design flaws and drive solutions from concept stage to final production
Perform validation studies comparing 1D results to experimental data and improve current methodologies
Coordinate with global 1D/technical strategy teams on developing/improving simulation strategies
Create Digital Twins / Model in Thermal Management to evaluate different concept, improve the services and the customer experience.
Develop a strong interface with the data analytics team. Use the data coming from vehicles, Rigs, tests and suppliers to continuously improve the accuracy of our model.
Be active in the Global Simulation Platform and Rigs network.
Manage the backlog according to agile principles
Perform advanced simulations/analyses. Support design engineers in design evaluations.



Who we are looking for
Good knowledge in heat transfer and cooling system
3+ years of work experience preferably in engineering analysis
Experience in Systems (1-D) modelling
Experience in Matlab SimuLink
Experience in Python
A strong mathematical and analytical background
Knowledge in KULI this is considered positive
Knowledge in AMESim is considered positive
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Curious, interested in new way of doing and working
Be pro-active and positive mind set!
