Working as a Simulation engineer within the automotive industry

Our client works with Driving performance which defines, verifies, and validates customer features/attributes focusing on enhancement of vehicle performance.
In your role as a Simulation engineer, you will have close cross-functional collaboration with colleagues from different parts of the company. You will be involved in a talented team of Simulation Engineers, test engineers, feature engineers and analysts in the Driving Performance area.
The team's main goal is to sustain and strengthen their leading position on heavy-duty trucks around the globe. You along with the team will be responsible for system simulation. System simulations are carried out within Matlab/Simulink and are used throughout the life cycle of a truck.
Your tasks will be to...
- Complete vehicle simulations, Perform simulations/analyses based on instructions or day-to-day guided work verified by upper levels.
- Provide design input for less complex components or systems.
- Deliver component models and demonstrate fidelity based on test results, instructions or other data.
- Provide feedback on methods.
Being a consultant at Nexer Tech Talent

You will be coached by a mentor at our client and by a consultant manager at Nexer Tech Talent. As a consultant, you will be well taken care of. We often invite our consultants to group activities such as lectures, after works and lunch meetings. After successful completion of the consulting assignment, the intention is that you will be offered employment with our client.
Desired qualifications:
- You are at the start of your career and have a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanics, mechanical engineering or similar
- Have experience in simulations tools
- Understand the energy consumption part of a vehicle.
- As a person you are a good team player, eager to learn and a good communicator.
- Good knowledge in the English language
- Good knowledge in Simulink/Matlab
