THE POSITION
As a simulation engineer at Sigma Industry you get the opportunity to work together with many clever and inspiring colleagues, who all promote an experience exchange. Our consultants work within different industries, such as Telecom, Energy, Automotive, Aerospace, etc.
You are a passionate, result-oriented individual, with a M.Sc. or Ph.D. graduation. You have at least 2 years of experience as a calculation engineer, in the field of mechanics, such as strength analysis and structural dynamics. You have a solid theoretical background and a clear understanding of the physics involved in your field of expertise. Know-how of state of the art guidelines and standards for the assessment of different mechanical systems is a plus.
You have a strong interest in technology and good skills in the simulation software programs within your competence area (e.g. Abaqus, Hyperworks, etc.).
Experience from the automotive industry is an advantage.


YOUR PERSONALITY
We are looking for a candidate with great interest in technology and technical calculations, with high ambition and strong dedication. You have a good theoretical background and a genuine interest in problem solving. Taking initiative and responsibility does not scare you, as well as you are used to work both on your own and in team.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 2 years experience as calculation/simulation engineer
- Mechanical simulations
