The department Autonomous Systems is responsible for piloting, testing and developing future Autonomous Transport Solutions (ATS). This work is done in agile and self-steered teams with the ambition to evaluate upcoming technologies and develop these for serial production. One of the key responsibilities for the department is the strategic and operational responsibility for developing and maintaining a state-of-the-art simulation and development environment, as well as a comprehensive CI/CD pipeline.
Assignment
As a simulation system development engineer you will be at part of an agile team and your responsibility will vary depending on the current development needs.
It will include
• simulation software development
• integrating testing tools to the existing development environment
• training and support to the development teams
• improving and adapting the CI/CD-pipeline
Your profile
You believe in an agile culture and you have the ability to continuously and quickly adapt based upon the outcome. To succeed in this position, you need to be a strong team player, used to cross-functional work, be communicative, show drive and initiative and be energized by challenges.
You have good knowledge of written and spoken English. Diversity is the normal situation in our development teams, hence, international experience and cultural awareness will be to your advantage. You will have extensive contacts internally and externally, it is therefore crucial that you have a positive mindset and are a terrific teammate. You have an academic engineering degree , M.Sc. and/or PhD, and experience from high-tech development projects or equal experience gained from work.
The position requires several years of experience in software development and test automation in complex systems. Experience in simulation and mathematical modelling is meriting. Knowledge and experience in tool chains for CI/CD pipelines is beneficial.
This position will give you considerable responsibility and you will be able to steer and control your day-to-day work together with your team.
