We are a major bushing manufacturer throughout the world and our site in Ludvika offers a complete portfolio of AC and HVDC bushings.
We, at Components in Ludvika, are now looking for a Simulation/tender engineer to join our bushings engineering team! We are a unit within the transformer business, supplying world class components to transformer manufacturers worldwide. We are proud of our product portfolio, our global customer base as well as our modern production unit.

As a Simulation/tender engineer you are the technical expert supporting our customers as well as our internal sales team and production unit. You analyze our customers’ needs and provide great solutions with our products as well as suggesting changes if necessary. Development of new products is also included.
Your responsibilities
Electrical and thermal simulations of bushings
Provide technical support and advice regarding quotation of HVDC and large AC projects
Offering technical support to sales team in order related questions
Administrate and document simulations and tests into reports and customer documents
Prepare customer specific documents for orders

Your background
A Graduate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar education
At least 5 years working experience in related field of engineering. Transformer or bushing design experience is preferred
Knowledge on simulation software such as COMSOL Multiphysics or Ansys is considered as an advantage
Good experience with MS office package
Knowledge on HVDC valve design or topology design is considered as a merit
Having a team player attitude but being self-reliant and having the ability to drive the business both in a technical way as well as being aware of and having a commercial business-oriented mindset is critical
To be successful in the role we see that you have strong communicative skills and since you will be working in a global environment, being fluent in English is essential. Being fluent in Swedish is meriting but not mandatory
