Sirdal Fjellpark in Southwest Norway seeks a mechanic

Sirdal Fjellpark is one of the region's most popular destinations for skiing and outdoor activities. We are currently looking for an engaged and skilled mechanic to join our operations department. In this position, you will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of ski lifts, snowmaking equipment, machines, and other technical equipment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied workday and wants to work with advanced equipment in a beautiful setting.


Work tasks:
- Maintenance and operation of ski lifts, including troubleshooting, repairs, and inspections
- Follow-up on snow production equipment and machines, including grooming machines and snowmobiles
- Preventive maintenance to ensure safe and stable operation
- Daily operations and technical supervision of the facilities
- Assist with other operational tasks during the winter season and maintenance outside of the season


Qualifications:
· Mechanic, industrial mechanic, or similar experience
· Experience with maintenance of machines and technical equipment, preferably within the ski and leisure industry
· Strong technical understanding and hands-on skills
· Ability to work independently as well as in a team
· Class B driver's license (class S and T are a plus)
· Experience with electrical work and hydraulics is an advantage
