Responsibilities
For our site at Hilton Foods Sweden, we are now looking for an experienced Site Director. As Site Director, you will have the overall responsibility for the workflows(production, logistics, planning, amongst others), to reach set targets, budget, profitability and staff. The goal is to continuously improve our operation processes, deliver on our service agreement to reach a high customer satisfaction together with the local excellent Team and to engage the site to reach the target goals with a strong focus on result and effiency.

As Site Director, you have the overall responsibility for the site in Västerås. As well, be part of and lead different projects, both on site and globally. As a leader, you will have an important task in keeping your staff motivated and engaged, ensuring a thriving working environment together with your management team. You will also make sure that the team is well educated in the different processes, are aware of and obeying current laws and regulations of the food and meat industry. Your main mission is to secure a high service level to the customer, as well as having a cost effective business and operation.

You will work very close to your colleagues in the management team, operations (production, logistics, planning and canteen), engineering & manufacturing, HSEQ, IT, purchasing, finance and people&culture on site. In addition, you will be a part of Hilton Globally to further extend and develop the business and operations, for example by implementing new SOP’s, enhancing the working environment and sharing best practices. 



Qualifications
You are a driven and goal oriented person with a mind for quality and details. You gain trust by your way of communicating and customer focused way of working.
Being able to both work operative and strategic is very important to you. You are a calm and confident leader who knows how to motivate and inspire your team and you have experience from LEAN and problem solving. As a person and a leader, you thrive when you stand on the factory floor talking to, and motivate your team members and employees. Understanding your business’ strengths and weaknesses is important to you. 
We believe that you have several years of experience from a similar role; perhaps you have worked as a site manager before, head of operations and have experience from leadership teams. You have experience from the food industry preferably from fresh food with short shelf life, process industry or manufacturing. Adequate university education or equivalent (have obtained equivalent knowledge through your work experience) and you speak and write fluently in English and Swedish. You also have good knowledge in financial follow up, investment requests, cost follow up and follow-up of key figures.

HFS produces consumer packed perishable goods, its main product is meat, which are sold at ICAs grocery stores. During the last couple of years, there has been many investments in the factory in Sweden, which has resulted in a state of the art factory that produces 1000 tonnes of products every week.
