Site Manager

You will be part of HVDC within the Power Systems division in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 50 years and is used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems.

Tasks
If you are up for a challenge that involves international work within the area of project management and leadership this may be the right opening for you. During periods of six months up to two years, you will be based at one of our global sites. You will be responsible for coordinating, leading and planning all work that takes place on site. It can e.g. be construction, installation or commissioning, follow-up or control. Budget, safety and HR will also fall within your realm of responsibility. As Site Manager you will represent ABB in contractual matters in regards to staff, our clients, authorities and subcontractors.

Requirements
You have a degree, presumably in Engineering and at a minimum three years? experience from working with expansive projects. You may have worked as site manger in engineering, construction, installation or during start-up phase. Project management experience or training is positive for this role. Fluency in English is a requirement as is openness to working internationally. On a personal level you are confident, have strong leadership skills and an ability to multitask.
