About the job
In this position, you’re based in Sandviken and help ensure that our facility is a great place to work at and visit. You make this happen by closely managing various functions such as Visit Sandvik Coromant, Facility Management and different project leaders, whilst also heading up the local site management. You set goals for the long-term planning of these facilities – future-proofing our sites in the ways of building strategies, to keep us at the forefront of being an attractive employer. Furthermore, your team also works with sustainability and quality as well as handle management plans, expenses, and budgeting, all this with an understanding of keeping our facilities in top shape.
All in all, this is an expansive role, affecting many stakeholders and functions in different locations where you also interact with the local municipality. Overall, you drive change, both from a business standpoint as well as from a person-to-person point of view.

About you
We’re looking for someone with extensive work experience in roles touching different management functions, in particular leadership positions and the facilitation of executives, together with stakeholder, visit and facility management as well as project management. You have preferably previous experience from roles in HR, EHS, real estate and/or quality, combined with involvement in crisis management, and the managing of work environment. You’re also used to budgeting and handling larger sums of capital. Since we act on a global scale, you’re fluent in English and Swedish, in both written and verbal form.
Your leadership qualities and experience are immensely important – you’re independent, always one step ahead and set clear boundaries regarding business priorities and are confident, as well as encouraging in your way of managing employees. You’re an efficient and concise communicator who knows how to negotiate, accompanied with an enthusiastic business mindset. You prefer to support all functions of business, for example HR, IT and Employer Branding, and work on continuously improving on these areas.
