Services organization in EMEA is covering 25 countries with 500+ employees, being a fast-growing business responsible of life cycle management of all Eaton Electrical products, systems and software portfolio. We are serving customers in Data centers, Utilities, Industries, Buildings, Marine, Healthcare segments by providing installation, commissioning, warranty care, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting services, spare parts, equipment life extension, modernization and end of life services.
We're now looking for a Site Manager who will work at Eaton's large sites (e.g. Microsoft data centers) in Gavle, Sweden. You will work on site preparation through deliveries, construction and testing phases and as such have the authority to coordinate the daily operational works at site meetings where planning, coordination, and safety are reviewed. Critical to the mission is to ensure all safety (EHS) and quality requirements met. Eaton’s Data Centre projects can involve every aspect of power distribution from low to medium voltage, UPS (uninterrupted power supply), and automation such as EPMS (Energy Power Monitoring System). Please note that this role will require some travelling and working in different locations within EMEA region (like work on rotation over 6 weeks on site - 1 week home).
Your main responsibilities:
Responsible for Health and Safety, Environmental on site Coordinate and direct site works, manage third party suppliers on a daily basis. Main activities are fit-out, AC and DC cabling, battery assembling, commissioning of UPS & MV switchgears Represent the Project Manager on site and during local coordination meeting Maintain close cooperation with Project Manager and site service coordinators to form an effective team for executing Eaton's scope of supply Ensure effective use of resources to help reach profitability expectations Identify and notify extra-work from parties request and document them to the Project Manager Is expected to be on site as per customer schedule each workday Organizes and carries out site aspect of trainings for different parties as required. Responsible for leading the Eaton on-site service team, and Eaton vendor workers to follow all defined procedures so as to achieve quality, cost, delivery and employee safety goals Coordinate with all functional and service groups to meet customer requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Electrical engineering Some working experience in similar field Electrician training and/or project working experience ideal, Experience in power distribution construction site is a plus Knowledge and experience with Health and Safety and Quality Management on construction site Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring, cabling documents Knowledge and experience with MS Office and MS project Excellent communication and organizational skills Proficient in English and other language will be a plus Flexibility and adaptability If required, willing to work on rotation 6 weeks on site - 1 week home - able to travel within EMEA region without restrictions
