You will be a part of Northern Central Europe Construction and Operations Service Business Unit, which covers 40 countries and has 250 employees in 18 different locations. The Construction and Operations department works on approximately150 projects a year.
Our Department oversees all wind farm projects from start to completion. The team takes responsibility for a wind farm once a contract has been signed - and remains responsible until the final tests are completed. Working closely with the logistics, procurement, and finance departments, we must keep the project on budget and on schedule, as well as ensuring our ongoing safety and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
As the Site Manager, Onshore Installation (f/m/d) your main responsibility will be the organization of construction sites with the focus on safety, quality, budget, and time, as well as to:
Oversee all construction activities to monitor compliance with safety and quality regulations
Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
Meet contractual conditions of performance by reviewing the work progress daily
Plan to prevent problems and resolve any emerging situations
Evaluate, handle,and mitigate risks
Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
Qualifications
Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree from an accredited institution is good to have
Proven working experience in the construction industry - minimum 3 years
Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
Understanding of all facets of the construction process
Knowledge in process safety standards and local legislation
Fluent in the English language, both spoken and written
Competencies
You are a focused and results-orientated with huge emphasis on safety
You have solid perceptive skills while also being able to organize priorities and workloads
Power to influence, both with limited to no supervision
Proficient in conflict and crisis management, while also being able to stay professional in a time-sensitive situation
Intercultural competencies
Great time and project management skills

Additional information
Work location will be primarly on the Onshore Wind Sites in Denmark/Sweden/Finland or in Estonia.
This is a position which includes a lot of traveling, apart from mentioned countries travelling could include all Northern-Central Europe region,but you should be a resident of the above mentioned countries.
