HVDC is looking for a Site Quality Auditor to work with us in an international environment with plenty of opportunities. In this role, you will be part of the quality team that is dedicated to implementing a culture and practice of excellence throughout the entire value chain of the organization, to increase customer satisfaction and improve profitability in a sustainable way.
As our Site Quality Auditor, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting internal audits at our project sites. With a focus on ISO 9001 and Hitachi Energy HVDC processes and standards, you will identify non-conformances, opportunities for improvements, and best practices. Will communicate findings to the project team, process owners, and other stakeholders. Site audits are done to assure the site complies with the processes and project phases, e.g., civil construction, installation, or commissioning.
Good collaboration with the HSE (Health Safety and Environmental) audit team since site audits are frequently done together. In addition, you will stay up to date with industry best practices and regulation changes, ensuring that our company is continuously operating at the highest level of efficiency and compliance.
The main stakeholders for the Site Quality Auditor are projects, contractors, and end customers. To be successful in this role, you need to collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to improve customer satisfaction and quality culture.
Your responsibilities
Plan, execute and report internal audits at site, focusing on ISO9001 and HVDC Processes
Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
Contribute to continuously improving audit processes and the audit program planning.
Report, support, and follow up on audit findings and audit process-related metrics.
Perform internal process audits, support certification audits and when applicable customer audits.
Apply quality methods, processes, and tools to support handling of quality issues Identify risks and give recommendations for improvements.
Analyse performance data and drive actions.
Plan and execute frequent travels to different HVDC sites for internal audits.
Develop methods to conduct and execute remote site audits.
Develop and maintain the competency matrix to support the training and coaching auditors in conducting site audits.
Conduct training and coaching sessions to develop new auditors in executing site audits.


Your background
We highly value your personality and see that you have a positive, structured, flexible, driven, engaged and initiative mindset. You also have solid communication and influencing skills to address and build trust with people on different organizational levels.
You have a university degree, preferably quality, electrical engineering or similar within a related field.
You are a team player and a self-driven person who facilitates and build on the ideas of others, share information and expertise, and work towards common goals.
As you will be part of an international environment English is a must, both written and spoken.
We see it as mandatory that you are a certified internal auditor with experience in conducting audits.
Good knowledge of ISO9001 is mandatory while knowledge of ISO45001, ISO14001 is beneficial.
Proven experience from project or construction sites is a must.
