Site Reliability Engineer

Site Reliability Engineer

Arbetsbeskrivning

Whether a customer is scanning their feet in a store in Japan or trying to find a pair of great fitting running shoes online; it’s done via the Volumental cloud. The cloud collects scan data, delivers 3D representations of your feet straight in your mailbox, and recommends footwear based on millions of scans and purchases. We need your help perfecting it.

As a SRE at Volumental, you will own the operational problem space at Volumental. You will work closely together with our product engineers to scale and create a resilient infrastructure to keep up with the continued growth of both services and traffic (we have so far scanned 10 million pairs of feet). You will write and keep best practices and policies updated, while spreading the knowledge to engineers and building tools to automate operations. Your goal is to allow product teams to take full ownership of their infrastructure and software, while at the same time giving them more time to focus on product development.

You will be joining a company with a strong engineering culture and a genuine love for building software. As the first ever SRE at Volumental, you will have great influence over operational decisions and be able to move fast in our small, diverse and experienced team.

- A self-motivated and collaborative team member
- Open to teaching others and learning new things

- Experience with microservice architecture and tooling
- Experience with CI/CD automation tools

Bonus - Don’t let these stop you from applying, but if they fit you, please let us know!

- Security expertise

What we can offer you:

- A tech stack built in-house with little legacy code

COVID-19 Notice:

Our recruitment process normally includes at least one opportunity for a face to face meeting, but in these times we have moved to virtual hiring and onboarding processes to respect social distancing. Should a candidate prefer to meet in person at the final stages of recruitment, we take all necessary precautions to ensure everyone’s safety.

Our entire company has been to a large degree working remotely during this period, and we are confident about maintaining a creative and efficient environment while away from the office! However, as we do hope to return to the office eventually, you will need to relocate to Stockholm for this role.
