Site Reliability Engineer - Stockholm

Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer who is experienced in monitoring, metrics, tracing systems (Promethus, InfluxDB, Instana or similar) and Docker or similar container technologies.

What you'll do:
● Build, deploy and maintain Monitoring tools and supporting systems with automation in mind to reduce the amount of time and effort necessary for our Development Engineers to provide the best platform service for all our brands.
● Building, upgrading, and maintaining the Splunk infrastructure running (Indexers, Forwarders, Search Heads, License Server, Monitoring Console, etc.)
● Provide Monitoring as a service (metrics, traces, logs) to be used by Development and Infrastructure teams.
● Collaborate with data owners to advocate for best practices regarding logging ingestion.
● Design, build and maintain the core infrastructure that enables GitLab scaling to support hundreds of thousands of concurrent users.
Who you are:
● Have a proven experience with monitoring, metrics, and tracing systems (Promethus, InfluxDB, Instana or similar).
● Good knowledge of automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
● Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms such as OpenStack, Amazon AWS or similar.
● Excellent communication, teamwork skills, inter-personal and Organizational skills.
● Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes or Nomad.
