At our site in Lundby we are rebuilding for Campus Lundby and new advanced technology for the transport industry. This means a lot of exciting challenges around new products, new facilities, and new processes that we must implement. Do you want to join us working as the Site Safety and Coordination Manager?
We are looking for a Site Safety and Coordination Manager of Volvo Group Trucks Technology. You will have a key role to drive and governance that we ensure safe work environment at our site for our employees and contractors in accordance with the Swedish Working Environment Act (Arbetsmiljölagen). As Group Trucks Technology is the biggest entity at site Lundby we are responsible to coordinate that working environment risks that arise at site are identified and addressed together with other functions.
Your mission will be defining format and structure, govern the work environmental framework at the site. This include developing safe procedures, defining responsibilities, safety routines and safety standards.
You will be responsible to create safety requirements and ensuring that they are fulfilled such as secure risk assessment, approve work permits, identifying high-risk jobs, establishing communication paths.
We hope you thrive in establishing relationships and building trust, as you will need to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders and connect cross-functional teams in the implementation and safeguard of our work environmental framework.

The Technical Safety and Environment team is part of Rigs and Workshops Complete Vehicle organization. We are currently 6 highly skilled experts with deep knowledge in safety and environment expertise. We are working strongly together and in close collaboration with all other parts of Lundby sites to ensure that the site is safe and environmentally friendly while developing cutting-edge technologies and sustainable solutions that will change the future of transportation. Essential Skills and Needed Work Experience
University degree in Engineering or Environmental Science or equivalent work experience
At least 5 years work experience within the field of work environment and within a coordinating function
Very good ability to communicate, collaborate and make decisions
Strong ability to work with a sense of urgency and with a doer ability
Fluent in English and Swedish both written and spoken
