Site Supervisor in Skelleftea

The Construction Supervisor will oversee the construction of projects and monitor activities at worksites. They manage teams, ensure health and safety codes are observed, and that work is completed to schedule. Construction Supervisors also help develop contracts, liaise with subcontractors and vendors, and perform other administrative tasks.
The Construction Supervisor's responsibilities include monitoring performance and making recommendations for improvement, as well as educating all staff on safety. They should ensure that projects stay within budget and that required materials and equipment are available.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
supervising workers and subcontractors - ensuring teams work together to deliver quality work to strict deadlines,
Assisting project managers to plan work,
organizing staff work schedules,
checking work is carried out safely,
completing records for site reports,
attending site management meetings.
monitoring construction processes, and providing training and team building sessions are required.
ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
performing equipment, material, and routine site inspections.
Lead quality walk downs and implement resulting actions from punch/snag lists.
Training and mentoring new members of the team to align new members around ethos, quality & efficiency.



EXPECTATIONS/QUALIFICATIONS
To be thorough and pay attention to detail,
Leadership skills and the ability to work well with others,
Knowledge of construction health & safety procedures is essential. Must hold CSCS / SMSTS card or equivalent,
Knowledge of manufacturing production and processes,
To be able to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device.
Up-to-date with safety codes and advancements in construction methods.
Ability to accurately read drawings and carry out take offs.
