SKF Solution Architect Pre-Sales & Customer Service

This is a global role where you will be working in a multi-cultural international team. You will be interacting with colleagues and users internationally.
You will work with the latest technologies enabling Pre-sales solutions, external customer facing solutions, open-source frameworks, enterprise data, transformation and connectivity, enterprise ERP, API, connecting external services, modern front ends and much more.

Key responsibilities
To optimize the value of Pre-sales solutions through delivery and risk reduction, while ensuring all regulatory compliance requirements are met.
To secure the integrity of end-to-end IT solutions for Pre-Sales within programs/projects.
To work with specialist architects (e.g. enterprise, domain, integration), project managers, IT project managers, other technical staff (IT security, developers, etc), business analysts, system owners and other stakeholders to ensure solutions are delivered, or cancelled, based on the most effective strategy for the organization as a whole.
Be responsible for the solution architecture of a given system or module (or pre-defined clusters of those) during the program/project life cycle phases
Carry out and / or overseeing solution design and documentation, focusing on system technology solutions and their components such as SAP core components (architecture design, security, logical and technical views, etc).
Utilize understanding of industry solution trends to innovate and provide new project/product ideas within the investment lifecycle.
Have the role of Pre-Sales Solution Architect for solutions in programs/projects with full authority within approved architecture.


Requirements
You have University degree in IT, technical design or equivalent and relevant qualifications
You have experience with SAP, AS-400, API frameworks, and other pre-sales solutions and knowledge of current IT technologies, trends and practices including Cloud, Agile, DevOps, B2B, B2C.
You have competence within structured design methodology that consistently yields the right level of technical design documentation and develop technical solutions that conform both to customer requirements and solution development standards.
You have experience working with other architects, at both and enterprise and solution level and with all elements of change management and all major forms of quality assurance.
You have knowledge of English language, both written and spoken; knowledge of Swedish is considered as a plus

Additional information for you
The position will be preferably located in Gothenburg, Sweden, or in one of SKF’s major site in Europe.
