Smart Factory lab a part of Global Industrial Development
Global Industrial Development (TE) is responsible for strengthening and developing of Scania’s joint expertise in engineering, quality as well as Industrial IT within Production and Logistics. Smart Factory Lab is a relatively new part of TE, focus on adapting, assessing and demonstrating technologies that will increase Scania’s productivity as well as improve product quality and worker health.
Examples of technologies that has been or is tested in the lab are virtual and augmented reality, human robot collaboration and advanced analytics. The smart factory team apply the technologies both at assembly, machining, maintenance and logistics.
In the lab and at production units advanced analytics has for instance been used for predicting maintenance and predicting machining quality. In future, application areas as sustainability optimization, production sequence optimization and predicting foundry quality among others are also of interest.
Job description
Your will be part of the smart factory team and act as a global specialist within advanced analytics. You will apply, assess and demonstrate advanced analytics in the smart factory lab and also be a team member then implementing promising solutions in production. You also have the responsibility to support and educate production units within your field of expertise. Furthermore, you should actively follow the trends within your topic by participating in industrial networks and academic research projects.
Your profile
We believe that you have an extensive knowledge within advanced analytics and have developed several successful applications within production and logistics. You have a Master of Science degree and a great interest in new technologies and production.
As a person you are structured, organized and have extensive communication, pedagogic and documentation skills. Furthermore you are open-minded and used to work in teams. You are fluent in English, both spoken and written. Advantage if you have an extensive academic and industry network.
