About this opportunity

Welcome to the Software Development team - Group Function. We add value by  delivering stratergic initiatives and implementing  features as per business requirements. As an Expert Developer you’ll play a valuable role in optimizing common data warehouse in Snowflake 

What you’ll be doing:
* You will learn common data warehouse migrated in snowflake 
* Will contribute in creating a backlog to finetune and optimize the solution 
* Work in a team of experts to accomplish backlogs, objective will be to optimize the processing capacity and storage
* Implement best practices of snowflake / AWS /cloud
* Implement new business functionalities based on desing/mappings 


You’ll join a team of professionals operating from various locations likes of Nordics, Poland and India. The role is based in Stockholm, Sweden

* Experience in SAFe or Agile 
* Good communication skills 


Your experience and background: 
* Snowflake architecture
* Snowflake access control
* Snowflake specific features such as Data Sharing, Time Travel, Cloning and etc.
* Understanding of AWS S3
* Ability to demonstrate different data loading techniques to SF (Snowpipe, Copy into)
* Skills in writing SnowSQL code
* Understanding of different data access methods and their applicability in different situations (ODBC, JDBC, HTTP GET)
* Advanced ANSI SQL coding (Tables, Views, Procedures and etc.)
* Ability to read and write JavaScript programs
* Good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts such as SCD, Dimensions, Facts and schemas
* Experience on ETL Processes and design
* Experience in Jira, Git (Bitbucket), GitFlow Branching model, Confluence for documentation
* Experience on Performance Tuning
* Basic idea on Data modeling concepts
* Understanding and practicing of Test Driven development - focus on tests automation
* High standards to code quality and work ethic
* Must enjoy database development
