We offer you Everyday life as a Social and Human Rights manager at Kappahl is all about develop and making the world a little better place. Kappahl launched its first Code of Conduct for Suppliers in 1997, which in 2021 evolved into a Sustainability Commitment. We have established long-term relations with our suppliers and have our own staff visiting the factories on regular basis.

You will be responsible for lead, develop and follow-up on the implementation and progress of Kappahl's work for social and human rights in our entire value chain. Guide and support colleagues across the organisation to ensure social and human rights are respected. Secure methods, routines, and processes in line with legislation as well as multi-stakeholder initiatives such as Accord, ETI, SAC/Higg. Continuously monitor and evaluate developments regarding risks, regulation and trends related to social and human rights. As a member of the Sustainability Specialist Team, sustainability Matrix and HR act with focus on Kappahl as a group. You are reporting to VP HR & Communication.

Your profile You have an academic degree in sustainability, human rights, or another relevant field. More than three years of experience working practically with human rights issues in the supply chain in production countries. Excellent understanding of labor rights in international supply chain and experience working with living wages, gender issues and forced labor is meriting. Knowledge of social compliance and reporting programs, FWF and Higg BRM are meriting. You are fluent in English and understand Swedish.

Your personality You are communicative and love to clarify acts and sometimes complex information to colleagues so they can grow and see opportunities in new way of working. You have the ability to think strategically and conceptually. You thrive best in a developing environment where no day is the same. You are a natural and inclusive leader as act with integrity and secureness in a multicultural environment. Further, you are used to have many contacts areas and good cooperation is self-evident for you.
