What you’ll do
Our social media team is growing! We are looking for a community manager to join our team, to work alongside the social media manager and social media intern.
Main responsibilities will be community management and content strategy on our employee advocacy platforms.
Our ideal candidate’s main interest is in life sciences, medical research and biotechnology, and has great communication skills. Community management is a job for a ‘people person’ with great customer service skills who has the ability to moderate conversations with our community. We believe that listening to our audience is key to developing great content marketing strategies
Monitoring and moderating our official social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter etc.) with captivating conversations to build relationships with the community
Identifying and engaging with relevant conversations on various other social media platforms within the life sciences industry
Coordinating and liaising with internal stakeholders to relay customer feedback insights gained from online conversations within the community
Regular reporting on community engagements success in alignment with the overall marketing strategy
Creating, implementing and optimizing content strategies for our employee advocacy platforms
Who you are
BSc degree in Life Sciences, biotechnology or other relevant field
2-3 years proven experience as a community manager or similar
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Basic knowledge of content marketing and inbound
Experience with social media management and launching community initiatives (e.g. building a Facebook group, launching an ambassador program, etc.)
Ability to identify relevant metrics and create insight reports based on them
Attention to detail and flexibility
Desired Characteristics
Motivated, with great time and project management skills
Passionate and articulate with the ability to analyze the implications of online communications and messages
Experience with influencer marketing
Other languages are a major plus
