Group Communication, which Global Marketing & Brand is a part of, is based in Solna, Sweden, but some of the team members live in other countries and cities. This position can be based at any of our offices in Sweden. We have a flexible office/remote work policy and since we are a global company, a lot of our work is carried out online.

About the role
As a Social Media & Content Specialist, you will play a key role in strengthening our presence in these platforms. This is a combined strategic and hands-on position, where strong content productions skills are needed, as well as knowledge of how to plan, optimise, distribute and analyse social media content. You will work with various types of content production, but also with community management, organic and paid campaigns and products and processes related to social media and content.
In this position you will work with Global and Swedish content and activities, and with both employer branding and client communication – in close collaboration with HR and other communicators across the organisation. The Social Media & Content Specialist will be a part of Global Marketing & Brand, a team of ten people with skills ranging from digital marketing to graphic design. Together with your closest colleagues and representatives for divisions and markets, you will facilitate, analyse and develop our social media presence.
Your main responsibilities
Set up content plans together with your closest team
Plan, produce and distribute content social meida content
Coordinate paid social campaigns in collaboration with our media agency
Be the co-product owner of social media-related tools
Coordinate community management and influencer activities
Educate and advise colleagues about social media
Analyse social media activities and contribute to monthly, quarterly and yearly reports
Run social media and content-related activities and projects
To some extent, support with content production in other digital channels, such as website and newsletter
Qualifications
Who are you?
We believe that you are a digital native with a genuine interest in social media and digital marketing. You recognise the importance of, and potential for, social media – organic as well as paid. We also think you value good design and have a solid competence within visual communication and hands-on skills in image editing, graphic design and basic video editing.
To succeed in this role, you need to be comfortable with taking your own initiatives, running content-related projects, and supporting and advising your colleagues. Lastly, we think that you are curious and creative and interested in the world around you – and that you are motivated by accelerating the transition towards a sustainable society.
Your qualifications
Minimum a couple of years of experience from working with social media or closely related areas
At least basic skills in Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro/After Effects
Experience from working with social media management tools, such as Sprout Social, Falcon, Hootsuite or similar
Experience from working towards social media KPIs
Good understanding of social media reporting and analytics
Excellent Swedish and English skills, both written and spoken
University degree within Media, Marketing or Communication or similar
A bonus, but not a requirement: skills within paid social or other types of digital marketing
Another bonus, but not a requirement: an interest in, for example, sustainability, digitalisation, clean energy, urban development, life science, food tech, or architecture – or another topic related to what AFRY do
