Job Description
As a Social Media Specialist you will be responsible for the planning and distribution of social media content, both short and long term. You will work closely with our Global Social Media Manager to test and build new social-first strategies, brainstorm and execute platform specific content, analyze performance, and grow our communities in an authentic way. Together you will also ensure that all content and messages are in line with the overall values, brand platform and “tone of voice”, as well as keep the purpose of each channel in line with the overall brand calendar. The job is fast-paced in an environment that is always changing. An essential part of the role is to stay up to date with the conversations that are going on online and how the different social media platforms develop. You will report to the Global Social Media Manager at H&M Sport and work in close collaboration with all different functions within H&M Sport brand.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Plan and publish content and campaigns across H&M Sport’s social media channels
Ensure that all posts align with the overall brand platform, while also meeting audience and social standards
Coordinate copy and content assets between the different content streams to ensure project deadlines are met
Drive and build engagement with our community of followers across owned social channels
Partner with cross-functional teams to execute content strategies and coordinate an expanding range of ongoing concepts and themes for own social channels
Support the creation of relevant social-first assets for always-on and campaign content streams, in particular Instagram Reels and TikTok
Work cross-functionally to monitor, discover, and surface user generated content, identifying opportunities to incorporate into content calendar
Edit and adapt organic social media content for Stories, Reels or TikTok and ensure it is on brand and in line with H&M Sport’s visual guidelines
Analyze data and provide reporting and insights on performance, successes and key learnings on a monthly basis
Proactively bring new ideas and explore growth opportunities
Qualifications
As a person, we believe that you are a collaborative, proactive and self-driven person who is eager to learn and develop both yourself and the people you work with. You are naturally curious, always seeking out best practice examples and love to break down barriers with new ways of doing things and a forward-thinking approach. You can work independently but also enjoy being part of a team and achieving things together. You have experience from working cross-functionally between several departments and are able to collaborate with different people and communicate in an engaging way. We also believe that you:
Have 2-3 years’ experience from working with social media and building and managing social communities, preferably within retail
Great understanding of and passion for social media - Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube in particular
Have experience from working with industry systems and tools for social media monitoring, publishing, reporting, and social listening
Out-of-the-box creative thinker with a good eye for design and copy and the ability to adapt strong and engaging social-first content
Comfortable multitasking and delivering to tight deadlines in a fast-paced & complex environment
Basic digital graphics production and experience with Adobe Creative Suite for image and video editing is a plus
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
Self-motivated with ability to balance multiple projects and priorities
Flexible and have a very agile and hands-on working approach
Structured and have a strong attention to detail
Passion for sport and fashion

This is a permanent full-time position starting as soon as possible, and will be located at the H&M Sports Head Office in Stockholm.
