At SWEBG AB, we help our clients, multilateral development banks and companies, to ensure environmental and social safeguards in their development and infrastructure projects in developing countries. Our work currently is focused on Central Asia, the Caucasus, and Afghanistan and we seek opportunities for geographical expansion.
The main tasks of the Social Safeguards Specialist will be to:
Assist in the implementation of projects and assignments, collection and analysis of data on subjects of social and resettlement safeguards, gender and development, as per the specific needs of each project, and coordination with the clients and partners.
Assist in managing contracts and assignments with the partners in developing countries, monitoring the projects and assignments' progress and the sub-contractors performance.
Assist in preparing expressions of interest and technical offers to the bids announced by international clients, search sub-contractors/NGOs in developing countries, and coordinate with them in bid proposal preparations.
Requirements:
University Degree;
It is desired if you are familiar with the social safeguards policies of the multilateral development banks.
The ability to communicate in the English language. The ability to communicate in the Russian language is desired.
It is desired that the candidate is results-oriented, willing to try new roles and tasks for self-development and the company's expansion.
