Sodium Chlorate

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Process Specialist to join a leading global supplier of speciality chemicals. You will act as a process licensor for the various chlorate plants in EMEA, to develop and optimise processes from a long-term global perspective. Additional responsibilites are to ensure efficient knowledge transfer between plants, and between the plants and Technology as well as R&D.
Main responsibilities
Ensure the specialist competence and follow the development within the process technology area. Suggest relevant education.
Be contact person for assigned plants. A contact person has the responsibility to follow up and support the business actively and to ensure that the most cost efficient and competitive technology is used.
Process Licensor / Approve process designs and changes to processes.
Make long-term project proposals to develop the process so that the most cost efficient and competitive technology is used.
Participate in, growth projects decided by the business or in BROC projects from ISC or technology manager.
Participate in, or lead global bench marking activities.
Support the plants to Identify and solve chemical and technical related problems.
Develop and implement new methods and working tools in the business.
Be a resource for plants regarding process development and optimisation.
Ensure that knowledge within the technology area is transferred within the organisation.
Establish and develop necessary contacts regarding the technology within Nouryon, and with external resources.



Qualifications
B.sc in Chemical Engineering or similar.
Minimum 5 years of experience in chlorate process or research, process development and production within chemical industry.
Expert knowledge and several years of experience within the designated technology area.
Experience of leading projects
Excellent knowledge in English, both oral and in writing

This is a permanent position position on a full-time basis, reporting to Technology Manager, Renewed Fiber and based in Sweden.
