What we offer
You will become a member of an agile development team with great team spirit, the Software Download (SWDL) team. The team is responsible for designing and verifying the generic SWDL technologies within Volvo Cars. In this position you will build and maintain a wide personal network with designers within many different system areas of the vehicle, as well as customer service departments and manufacturing engineering. As a part of our team, you get access to long term development opportunities in a dynamic and continuously growing field.
The SWDL team is part of the agile release train Common Base Technology (CBT), which forms part of the fundament for all electronic control units in the entire electrical system. In our daily work, we are working according to the SAFe framework with 12 weeks program increment.
What you’ll do
You get inspired by our mission to give our customers a better car experience every day. You will use your knowledge within software testing to work with SWDL system testing activities. Test development, updates of test cases and methods and support of test automation (Python) might be part of your daily activities together with the team.
You and your skills
You enjoy learning from others, as well as, sharing your knowledge with your colleagues. You communicate well in English and have a M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree or equivalent within Electrical, Software Engineering, or similar area of education. You have a positive attitude and are a team player, and you are experienced with agile development.
You probably have experience within software testing with test tools such as Wireshark and Canalyzer/CANoe. You might also have experience of test automation development in Python. Experience in SWDL area as well as ISTQB certification and Swedish driver license (B) is an advantage.
