Jeppesen is looking for Software Application Developer based in Gothenburg, Sweden.
About the position:
The Digital Solutions & Analytics department is responsible for the product development, configuration, delivery and support of our Crew and Ops management products to airline customers and to make sure that we deliver solutions that our customers truly need. As a Software Application Developer you will:
-work closely with our clients and other departments to develop software and configure the solutions for our clients business needs
-deal with technical challenges and programing tasks as well as handling client expectations and building long-term customer relations
We are looking for team members with expertise in software development and user experience as well as showing strong communication and co-operation skills. For this position it is vital that you are passionate about learning the Airline business and that you see yourself contributing in teamwork, workshops and communicating with different stakeholders as part of the requirements gathering and implementation process.
Required experience:
• Proven experience of working with either development, configuration, support or infrastructure of Crew Management and Network Operations products
Preferred qualifications:
• MSc or BSc in Computer Science / Physics Engineering / Industrial Engineering or equivalent Programing experience
• Experienced with Windows / Unix / Linux environment
• Ability to speak and write English fluently
• Python, Shell scripting, SQL, Web development, Java, functional programming, .Net, C++
• Interaction design / UX competence (User Experience – Interaction design, Information architecture, User research, Task flows/Scenarios)
• Experience working within a scrum team or in similar agile project setup such as SAFe
• Ability to speak additional languages fluently

Typical Education / Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master, 6 year's related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:
This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
